HAIR CARE
1. BI-WEEKLY SHAMPOO IF NOT WEEKLY
Always detangle your hair before wetting it using a wide tooth comb or wig brush. Just like you would treat your own head of hair, wash it! Oils and dirt cause build up which is a no-go. Some ladies prefer to co-wash (using only conditioner), which is perfectly fine but remember you still want to use a clarifying shampoo that will remove any and all debris. If you wash your hair weekly you can switch in between a regular shampoo and co-washing.
2. DEEP CONDITION
It is important that you condition your weave, especially with curly hair. Conditioning helps with detangling, define curl pattern (if any), and adds moisture to the hair (that was stripped by the clarifying shampoo it you did not co-wash). You must retain moisture in the hair to prevent it from frizzing or tangling.
• HOW LONG WILL MY HAIR LAST?
With good maintenance, this hair can last a lifetime. We out no expiration date on our hair. Please treat this hair
as your own. Please remember that excessive heat and /or color can/will result in the reduction of its natural pattern of the hair.
• DOES THIS HAIR SHED?
Any hair that has been manufactured and stitched onto a weft is entitled to experience minimum shedding. Also it you cut your tracks you may experience shedding due to the fact the weft is now broken and strands are easier to slide out. If this happen seal the wefts to prevent hair from shedding.
To help with shedding each raw bundle is double wefted.
However, to prevent any and all shedding we recommend that your stylist upon the installation, stitch and knot AROUND the weft and not through the weft of the tracks (if a sew in install is being done). This will definitely help prevent shedding. Remember, proper maintenance is extremely important and advised.
It is also normal to get a few strands here and there when detangling your strands.
